It’s been an absolute privilege over the past four years to meet, connect with, and support so many incredible emergency service workers and their family members across the Northern Rivers and Mid North Coast of NSW, whilst working with Fortem.
I honestly don’t think the community always sees the weight you sometimes carry, the things you walk into, or the quiet sacrifices made by you and your families, but please know there are people who genuinely appreciate it.
Some of the conversations, stories and laughs shared along the way will always stay with me, and being part of an emergency services family myself, I understand more than most the strength, sacrifice and what life behind the uniform can look like.
Thank you for everything you do for our communities, and thank you for allowing me to stand beside you in some small way.
