Axe Throwing | ACTCS

March 28, 2024 @ 7:30 am - 12:00 pm AEDT

Free
Axe throwing

Please note, this activity is for people aged 18 and above.

Haven’t we all wanted to throw solid steel axes at a wooden target?? Now is your chance to have a go!

No experience necessary- after an axe-throwing warm-up and demonstration, you will be randomly assigned four matches against other players from your group. It’s every person for themselves as you compete for the highest score.

This free wellbeing activity is for ACT Corrections Services families. Register yourself, and up to one other adult (your partner, children, family members, or someone from your inner circle). Encourage a colleague to register too, or make connections on the day.

All Fortem Wellbeing Activities are underpinned by the 5 Ways to Wellbeing — a set of practical lifestyle habits which contribute to our overall mental fitness. This model by our partners at The Royal Melbourne Hospital is based on widely researched, effective strategies for improving mental health and wellbeing, and forms the foundation of all Fortem Australia events, programs, and activities.

Please register your interest in attending this activity by working through the registration form below. Note, registration is not complete until you receive confirmation by email from the Fortem team.
