Bring your family or a friend/colleague and join other first responders for a morning hanging out with the little guys of Penguin Island.
The morning will include a return ferry ride departing at 10 am, entry to the feeding show at 10.30 am, and a cold drink or coffee on the island. So, pack your swimwear, a big hat and maybe a picnic and have some summer fun in the sun!
Please note the government guidelines to close Penguin Island when the weather is 35 degrees or over (measured on the island).
This free wellbeing activity is for first responder families (check out who we serve here). Register yourself, up to one other adult and up to two children (your partner, children, family members, or someone from your inner circle). Encourage a first responder colleague to register too, or make connections on the day.
All Fortem Wellbeing Activities are underpinned by the 5 Ways to Wellbeing — a set of practical lifestyle habits which contribute to our overall mental fitness. This model by our partners at The Royal Melbourne Hospital is based on widely researched, effective strategies for improving mental health and wellbeing, and forms the foundation of all Fortem Australia events, programs, and activities.
