Fortem’s Career Management Program supports first responders with Career Resilience and Career Transition.
There are many reasons for career change and transition, and each are as individual as you are.
You may be wondering what’s next for you, exploring what’s motiving you to make this change, and seeking to understand your potential career pathways. (Hint it’s not just about getting your resume ready and your interview skills up to scratch).
Through tools, tips, and education our holistic program supports you through this change. It is designed to help you in navigating this unfamiliar territory, and into the next phase of your career, and life, recognising your service and the wealth of transferrable skills you have to offer.
Underpinned by supported case management, Career Resilience provides a range of tailored workshops, seminars, self-paced learning modules, well-being, education, and lifestyle resources designed to increase career resilience, engagement, and well-being.
Our Career Transition support is tailored to your unique needs as a first responder and promotes a holistic approach to career transition, lifestyle planning and well-being. Underpinned by supported case management, the aim is to support an exit with dignity where individuals reflect on the value of what they have contributed and achieved in their service and build confidence in understanding their transferrable skills and experience, as they transition from their organisation.
Talk to us about your next career move or post-service lifestyle, including what’s important to you, identifying your transferrable skills and interests, job seeking skills, resume and job application support networking, interview coaching, and assistance to transition into retirement.
Together, we plan the pathway that’s right for you.
We will also support your family through this transition, through our wellbeing activities and counselling services. The career management program may also be available to the partners of first responders, please reach out if you would like to know more. This holistic support is part of our mission to boost the resilience and wellbeing of first responders and their families.
Initial contact with our team can be made directly, or via your agency.
