Fortem’s Career Management Program supports first responders and their families with both Career Maintenance and Career Adjustment.
Underpinned by supported case management, the Career Maintenance Program provides a range of tailored workshops, seminars, self-paced learning modules, staff training, well-being, education and lifestyle resources designed to increase individual and team performance and well-being.
Our Career Adjustment Program is tailored to the unique needs of the first responder and promote a whole person, holistic approach to career transition and lifestyle planning. The aim is to support an exit with dignity where individuals understand the value of what they leave behind and what they retain as they transition from service.
Talk to us about your next career move or post-service lifestyle, including interview coaching, resume and job application assistance, networking, and assistance to transition into retirement.
Together, we plan the pathway that’s right for you.
We will also support your family through this transition. Our wellbeing activities, counselling services, and career management program are all on offer to you and those closest to you. This is part of our mission to boost the mental fitness and wellbeing of first responders and their families.
Initial contact with our team can be made directly, or via your agency.
Members of the first responder community are effective and committed leaders, team members, and problem solvers. First responders have a variety of transferable skills, and a broad range of interests.
Our Career Management Program is shaped around your goals and background. Choose the areas in which you would like assistance, and create your own pathway with the support of the Fortem team.
