Aftermath Webinar- Rebuilding Strength, Restoring Hope
The Aftermath webinar is designed to increase participants’ knowledge and understanding of the impacts that can follow periods of responding to natural or man-made disasters. It is one of several resources developed by Fortem to support first responders involved in disaster response.
We recognise that emergency service workers, and others who step in during community disasters, are often balancing their own reactions to difficult and traumatic events while also facing possible personal loss and damage. These experiences can have lasting effects, but there are proven strategies and techniques that can help reduce their impact and support recovery.
This free webinar is for first responder families (check out who we serve). Register yourself, and other adults. The session will be recorded and there will be an opportunity to ask questions.
The session is delivered by Kim Harrison, a registered psychologist and is a member of the clinical team at Fortem.
